WRPDD serves as the Administrative and Fiscal agent for the North Central Workforce Investment Board.  The local Workforce Investment Act programs provide job-related training and assistance to adults and youth who are looking for work or are interested in upgrading their work skills.  Services such as applicant referrals, job screening, and labor market information, are provided to employers as well.  The Workforce Investment Act programs are intended to bridge the gap between those seeking work, those who provide workforce training, and employers.  For more information on the WIA programs, visit the North Central Workforce Investment Board site by clicking here.
