Parks Workshop in Batesville, April 25, 2015

Officials with the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism will conduct a workshop for local government and other interested persons at the following time and location:

WHITE RIVER PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT OFFICES

TITUS CONFERENCE ROOM

1652 WHITE DRIVE, BATESVILLE

THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2015 – 10:00 a.m.
           

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the upcoming grants cycle for three programs: The 50/50  Matching Grant, the Facilities for Underdeveloped Neighborhoods (limited to areas with populations of 2,500 or less and targets areas which do not currently have recreation facilities), and the Trails for Life program which is a grant for fitness trail development. 

If you think you will be interested in submitting an application for one of these grant programs, please make arrangements to attend the meeting.  We expect the meeting will be completed by 12:30 p.m.  
                       
If you intend to apply for one of these grants but cannot attend the meeting, please contact us so we can add your name to our list of potential applicants.   Because of the time involved in the preparation of an application, we are asking that all applicants notify us of their intention to submit an application no later than noon on Friday, May 8, 2015.
