One-Stop Manager Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinating the service delivery of required and voluntary one-stop partners and service providers with a focus on common goals around access and quality of service to customers
- Providing oversight to One-Stop Centers including assessment of customer satisfaction and customer experience with program services
- Convening partners and providers on a regular basis to determine, assess and report on common goals
- Assisting with training and communication for Affiliate and Satellite locations
- Assisting with development of policies and procedures to support the mission and vision of the One-Stop System
- Fostering an environment of clear communication between one-stop partners and providers as well as with customers
- Ensuring Local Board policies are implemented and adhered to in all areas of delivery
- Interpreting and implementing policies and initiatives developed by the funder
- Providing recommendations for professional development and service delivery
- Generating awareness of services available at One-Stop Centers within local communities
- Ensuring the One-Stop system performance is on target with overall system goals, reporting system activities and outcomes to the funder; providing recommendations for improved outcomes and customer satisfaction
- Partnering with the funder to strengthen One-Stop operations through communication, service delivery and other enhancements
- Recruiting new partners and providers to the One-Stop
- Coordinating infrastructure agreements and partner services with Administrative Manager
- Ensuring contract compliance with federal, state and local mandates/contracts
- Supporting staff development to increase overall knowledge and awareness
- Assisting the funder in development of content for Resource Sharing Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding and/or other formal partnerships
- Serving as liaison with funding source, partners, providers, businesses and other organizations as needed
- Addressing and resolving issues related to growth and space
- Facilitating the sharing of pertinent data
- Ensuring EEO requirements are met, including staff training, appropriate signage and awareness of EEO policies
- Attending all monitoring visits conducted on-site
- Assisting WIOA project staff with planning and executing common activities to advance program goals, including but not limited to marketing and event management
- Other duties related to the role and scope of this position, as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, general business, technical writing or social sciences. Related work experience or other equivalent education may be substituted
- Five years of experience in supervision and management of a workforce program. Related or equivalent experience may be substituted
- Ability or organize, manage and control workflow, ability to meet deadlines
- Minimum of three years management experience in workforce development or similar setting
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of good management skills, good business ethics, laws, rules, regulations and methodology, application of laws and regulations, etc.
- Knowledge of general business and management principles such as strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership, production methods and coordination of resources
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and provide automobile liability insurance
- Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel for business purposes
- Must be able to pass background check for access to AJL computer system
